Commencing his tourism training with the NSW Department of Tourism, Robbie then continued with the Queensland Tourist Travel Corporation (Tourism Queensland) in the retail division in Sydney and Canberra rising to Senior Management levels. Moving to Cairns in 1989, Robbie became Sales Manager of well known tourism leader Quicksilver Connections. It is during this period that Robbie and Todd Parker became the face of 'Far North Queensland', traveling extensively to promote the region to international markets in their positions with Quicksilver and the Cairns Colonial Club respectively. Robbie then joined another of North Queensland's tourism leaders Down Under Tours as General Manager Sales and Marketing for 4 years, before returning to Quicksilver as General Manager Sales.

His work has taken him regularly to North America, UK, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and throughout Australia and like Todd has an extensive range of contacts through all the markets.

Robbie combines his academic qualifications in Travel and Tourism with vast experience, humour and an absolute passion for the travel Industry.

Something you may not know :
As a schoolboy he represented NSW in both AFL and Rugby League. Rob is also a published author with his first book titled 'In-Continents', based on his numerous experiences travelling the globe.
